Boiler Room Fraud

Boiler Room Fraud is the common term for the ruthless mis-selling of worthless or bogus stocks and shares for the sole purpose of defrauding cash from unwitting investors.

Halloween No Callers Please Poster

As Halloween approaches the Partnership would urge all parents and their children to put safety first when trick or treating, showing consideration for the more vulnerable members of the community who may feel threatened by a visit from a “ghost or little monster”.  Remember what starts out as fun can quickly escalate into anti-social behaviour.

Households who don’t wish to be visited by trick or treaters can download this ‘No Callers’ poster, or until 31st October 2009 obtain a copy from a borough council Customer First centre and display it in a window by your front door.
